This should be a page that contains general material on germination.
Here are some of my ideas on topics to cover on this page. What is missing?
- Planning for the planting event.
- What site preparation is required?
- What distance between trees?
- Any fertiliser required?
- Any staking or wind protection required?
- Mulching.
- Is animal browsing an issue, and what can be done?
- Ongoing maintenance (weeding and watering for instance)?

Material for the species-specific pages
This page should contain general matters. For each species the details will vary, so on the species-specific pages it would be good if these questions could be addressed:
- When is this plant ready for planting?
- What time of year can they be planted?
- What are suitable or unsuitable locations, including local environmental conditions such as wind or light?
- Is animal browsing an issue, and what can be done?
- Is any ongoing maintenance required?
- Photos!
