Propagating New Zealand Native Plants

There are many good reasons to grow New Zealand native plants, and many good websites offering advice and tips. I am just a beginner, but enthusiastic! I have been frustrated not to be able to find a single website that has information for every species, and by the different levels of detail other sites offer.
I asked myself what a perfect website would look like:
- It would collate existing material already out there on the web.
- It would enable experienced growers to share their knowledge with others.
- It would invite contributions on every stage of the process: seed collection, germination, growing on, and planting.
- It would allow anyone to ask for advice, and offer their tips.
Let’s see if we can make a website that achives these goals! If you are in need of information, let us know whether the site is useful and how it can be improved. If you have experience with successful propagation, then please join us and share your knowledge!
At this time, this website contains only some placeholder material. Not much has been done to make it look smart. Before we start putting up material I’d like feedback: is the idea behind this site useful? Are the topics it is trying to discuss the right topics? What is missing, or how would it be better organised?
When I get this feedback I’ll update these pages, then we will be ready to add material in earnest.
